Test method:
1. When the test object is 50 ohms, a network analyzer can be directly connected for testing.
2. When the DUT is not 50 ohms, the impedance does not match, or when the voltage and resistance of the DUT need to be measured, the following must be matched:
(1) Signal generator:
It has the same characteristic impedance as the (quasi-) coaxial system of the CUT, or with an impedance adapter. If the transfer impedance is low, a power amplifier should be used for compensation if necessary.
(2) Receiver: Because it has a calibrated step attenuator. If the transfer impedance is low, a low noise amplifier should be used for compensation.
